I haven't logged into Warcraft in over a month. Haven't really been playing regularly since late summer. Don't really feel a need to. Haven't hit 60, and can't really see myself investing the time to hit 60 and now 70.
I'm going to think about it for a little more but I think I'm done.

Great interview with my friend Gregg Tavares (whom I haven't seen in many, many months) on 1UP.com. Gregg is one of the few foreigners working in production in the game industry in Japan and most recently worked on Loco Roco which is the hot game for the PSP in Japan these days.
Quite surreal, but great!, to see imagery and news from World of Warcraft in the NY Times.
I don't get much time to play these days though :( too busy!
I've been meaning to check out The 1 UP Show which Jane Pinckard is producing. I've really enjoyed the most recent one on GDC 2006. I love the high quality downloads and the production is really perfect for what it is- pretty lengthy interviews, reviews of games by gamers, and in-game video as well. Go check it out- it's what I want instead of what's on tv.
What, you weren't instructed by your boss to level up a warrior for the guild?
The day may not be far off when companies receive résumés that include a line reading "level 60 tauren shaman in World of Warcraft."

So what have I learned? First, it really is the New Golf: WoW facilitates surprisingly rich social interactions between players. In WoW I’ve set up meetings, arranged introductions, even asked for a favor or two. All the things that used to happen at a country club can now occur in this online space, only with an order of magnitude more people and without the limitations of geography or tee times.Second, this is the first time that I’ve seen the internet really live up to its potential to enhance the performance of far-flung teams. It’s amazing what gets accomplished in WoW – complex objectives are routinely solved using a combination of top-down leadership, individual creativity, and emergent strategies. WoW is a prototyping lab for new paradigms of collaboration.
