This is the news that I wanted to share with you last week.
This only works for IE-users in the US- you're presented with a link to download Firefox.
This is the first time a third-party application has been presented on the home page of google.com. Pretty awesome!
my friend in the states says it only appears in the IE7 beta, not IE6...
There has been a lot of press on this over the past couple of days. I didn't see it myself but I think it was an awesome gesture from Google. Google has publicly shown their support for Firefox and they even used it during the Keynote at the 2006 CES.
