Would it hurt Sony so much to have put WiFi in it?
They can disable the cut-&-paste function to protect their damn holy DRM....but... Oh Buddha, the E-Book has got the screen and the keyboard so why not make it a huge value to traveling biz people? Sheesh.
In my opinion the biggest flaw with the Libre was the poor choice in content. While they went through great pains to put dictionary and translation capabilities into the Libre, no English content is available. They have some stupid Eikaiwa books (Useless since they expire), but no contect to really use the dictionaries with.
Also there are no periodicals available. None. No newspapers, no magazines, no newsfeeds. The one medium that would actually make some sense when combined with the self destruction DRM and they don't include it.
I have seen this thing in person, and it's pretty cool. Mostly, the screen technology is pretty cool. But it's also totally useless. With all this DRM all over everything they spit out, I will never buy a Sony product again. Fortunately, the screen technology is not a Sony product, and will hopefully be available soon in something less ridiculously encumbered.
