Though the Sinemarise Sibuya is small cinema theater, Lost in Translation become the most successed show ever in this theater and it will be screened nationwide from May 8.

I’m British and saw the movie with the local Japanese society (in Scotland), I thought it was ok and was more against Americans in showing how stupid they are in their steroeotypes and inability to handle any other cultures (ok this is itself a stereotype, but the movie presents it).
The Japanese I talked to afterwards thought it was funny and I heard no complaints of racism, I saw the possibility but I cannot call it racist on their behalf?
