do you think he was fired for blogging about his work or blogging while he was @ work? just something to think about.

On his website he explains that the reasons given to him for his termination were security-related. I.e. the photo and the information about where the loading dock was in relation to other areas was the key reason.

Interestingly enough, Gregg Easterbrook, a Senior Editor with the left-of-center "The New Republic", recently had his "Tuesday Morning Quarterback" quarterback column shit-canned from espn.com for criticizing Michael Eisner and his decision to develop and market the, very arguably, violent "Kill Bill, vol. 1" on his "Easterblogg" weblog. The controversy is detailed at www.tnr.com.

The lesson is that blogging can be bad for your career if you're not careful.
