Ever since I arrived in Tokyo, I had promised many friends that I was going to throw a party at my place. It is pretty rare to go to a house party in Tokyo, mainly because most people don't have places large enough for a party, and because most people dont want to expose that much of themselves to social friends. So most gatherings in Tokyo end up at restaurants or other commercial venues. I enjoyed mixing up my friends all together (work friends, blogger friends, relatives, friends from NY, etc.) and I hope everyone had a good time.
Jake was kind enough to offer to host the party at his place because my studio was too small. Thank you very much Jake! Thank you also to everyone who came to the party and brought so many delicious desserts and drinks.
