I must be on a panorama photo kick. These things are incredible. Charles Evans's panorama photos of Burning Man. I had the chance to go in 1998 when I was still in LA, and wished that I had gone then.

What was it like in 1988 in England when 808 State's "Pacific" broke onto the scene? What was it like when the Moontribe raves were happening in the Mojave desert in the early 1990s?
I went to some of the smaller SoCal desert raves in the late 1990s, but the scene was already past it's prime. I was also disturbed at how events in the desert had a significant environmental impact.
Living in the concrete jungle of Tokyo makes me long for the desert of Joshua Tree. More on that later.
