Record collecting

As many of you know, I am a rabid fan of electronic dance music. I stumbled upon the WFMU Record Sale today and found a VERY rare early promotion 12" single of 808 State's "Pacific." It has 6 different remixes, of which 4 I had never even heard of. This song is a very early Acid House classic, which was essentially made with the Roland 808 synthesizer and is very famous for a "bird" sample which has been used time and time again since it's introduction by 808State.

Hi Gen,

First time leaving a comment - should've checked out your site more often. There are so many fun posts on here. You truly are unique.

Let me know how I can post some photos up here - or is that impossible on this site?

Maggie- you can post any image to my weblog, but you have to have the image up on the web already. For instance:

(needs open and close carets at the beginning and end of the previous line)

A Trainspotter writes : Weren't those birds samples on "Sueno Latino" before "Pacific State"?
