Two very cool Geography-related websites today (I was a geographer in college.)
NASA has an Earth Observatory website which has a really cool section on Natural Hazards. The images from this website are soooo incredible, especially Tropical Cyclone 10s (Dina). Very, very cool.
The USGS has a cool website on Satellite Image Atlas of Glaciers of the World. Sure that’s very cool and all, but when you dig deep into the site, there’s TONS of very cool images of the Northern Patagonian icefields, where I spent a lot of time back in 1993. A similar website on the Southern Patagonian icefields has photos of Glacier Moreno and the Fitzroy-Torre Massif.
